What inventions helped spread the Renaissance?

The printing press helped spread several ideas from the Renaissance as the new method of the printing press allowed books to be translated into numerous different languages thus allowing information contained in books to spread to different areas. This printing press process first spread to Germany, all the way to Italy and France and soon spread across the whole of Europe which made it possible for important information of the Renaissance to spread quickly across Europe. The quick distribution of texts made a significant increase the literacy rate. Moreover, Johann Gutenberg’s idea of the printing press revolutionized the deliverance of information by making it possible to create multiple copies of the same work in a short amount of time.
